Breaking Dawn: Part 1 is a pretty serious movie dealing with tough topics like marriage, sex, pregnancy, and the violent birth of a half-human/half-vampire baby. However, Breaking Dawn starlet Ashley Greene focused on the brighter side of things during filming.
The actress recently told NewsOk that reprising her role as Alice Cullen in Breaking Dawn was a blast, mostly because she got to act cheery and bubbly every day on set.
"[Alice is] planning this wedding [in Breaking Dawn: Part 1], and she has full control of everything, and everything's a fairy tale. It was fun going to set every day, you know, because you just have to be extremely happy. A little ball of joy," Ashley Greene explained.
Given the tough subjects covered in the latest Twilight franchise installment, it sounds like Greene had it pretty good throughout filming. No bloody, disgusting birthing scene for that girl!
Plus, it must have been fun to play the mastermind behind the highly anticipated fairy tale wedding of Bella and Edward Cullen, right? Alice does take the reins on that entire ceremony and reception, after all.
So, Twi-Hards, what did you think of Ashley Greene's portrayal of Alice Cullen in Breaking Dawn: Part 1? Did she do justice to Alice's sprightly character in the book? Was she a "little ball of joy" she aimed to be?
Sound off below, Twi-Hards!
