Missing teen Alexandra "Allie" Loftis was found safe this week in Jersey City in the company of a 42-year-old man. This comes after an exhausting search that lasted an entire two weeks. Sometimes missing kids are found after the first 72 hours, and sometimes these searches come with happy endings. However, it seems that a criminal case is, or should, ensue. Who was this man housing the missing 13-year-old child?
When Allie Loftis was reported missing, she was last seen getting off a bus around the Port Authority. From there, she vanished without a trace. Her family was worried, frantically searching for the disappeared teen. The media did their job in reporting the disappearance of Alexandra Loftis, and she was found.
The man found in her company isn't being named by sources, but it's been revealed that the Special Victim's Unit of the Hudson County Prosecutors Office arrested the unidentified man. This is a bit unsettling and indicative that this could have been a serious offense stretching passed simply giving the 13-year-old runaway a place to crash.
