Kate Gosselin is enjoying her time in Australia, celebrating Steve Irwin Day, and getting up close and personal with quite a few animals. Of course she is missing her brood of eight back home, who are reportedly staying with their estranged father, Jon.
According to Hollywood Life, Kate actually "allowed" Jon to
see his kids and care for them while she is away. "Kate knows she needs to be careful with her spending and is doing her best to cut back ... that includes babysitters and nannies. Kate realizes that she will have to rely on Jon more even though she can't stand it," revealed a source.
If you ask Kate, she will likely tell you that her kids stay with their father almost each time she takes a trip. Unless she is gone for a quick weekend (and even then), her little ones stay with their dad. It seems a bit absurd that someone would try to suggest otherwise—Kate may not like Jon but she does realize that he is the father of her kids and she does want them to have a relationship with him. The idea that she would do anything to keep her eight away from him is silly.
