2 Broke Girls continues with "And the Really Petty Cash." Max now knows Johnny has a girlfriend, but will Cashandra be sticking around for much longer?
A new cupcake job
Caroline tells Max they have to sing happy birthday to a customer, and while Caroline gets into it, Max thinks it's lame. Han tells them later he agrees that the happy birthday song is lame and has written a special one for the diner.
Johnny shows up looking for Max, and Caroline goes to get her since she had said not to show up unless he broke up with Cashandra. Max isn't so sure about that, but Caroline's sure that's why he's there. However, he's there to make sure they can still be friends. Caroline storms out upset, and Max tells Johnny they're cool.
Caroline's trying to send out a get to know their cupcake business email, but their Wi-Fi they're stealing is too slow. When Max calls the font pretty, Caroline says she's obviously depressed about Johnny. She doesn't believe her that she's fine. She insists that when she's done, she's done. After Caroline leaves, Johnny shows up with coffee and thanks for understanding the situation. She insists he's not her type since he doesn't seize the opportunity of being near alcohol all night as a bartender, but he grabs her and kisses her.
When Max gets to work, Caroline tells her they landed a big event and need 100 cupcakes by the next night for $500. Johnny has a piece in it, and Max says she can't make 100 cupcakes in a day. She tells Caroline what happened, and Caroline asks if Johnny said he was going to break up with Cashandra. Max doesn't know. Caroline suggests they get there early and drop off the cupcakes. Will that work? No, considering after they get to the event and see the photo Caroline identified as Max and Johnny, they find out they're serving the cupcakes. Cashandra joins them and says Johnny loves Max's cupcakes. She tells them to circulate when the guests arrive and leaves. They're stuck doing the job.
No shame
Caroline has been listening in on Cashandra's conversations and tells Max it doesn't sound like she knows. Johnny joins them and says Cashandra did it to surprise him. He's not happy to find out Max told Caroline, but Max brings up his artwork. Once they're alone, Johnny says the artwork is his favorite piece and there's no way Cashandra could know what happened. He explains their relationship is complicated. They've been together two years. Cashandra tells Max to circulate, and Max tells Johnny she can't be his friend.
Later on, Max finds Caroline and says they have to leave because she kissed Johnny again. They can't until all their cupcakes are gone or they won't be paid. Cashandra reiterates that and tells Max to put a chocolate cupcake aside for Johnny because he loves them and will return to them even if he has a vanilla. Ouch! The 2 Broke Girls watch the couple together, and Max is determined to stay until the cupcakes are gone. She realizes they can eat them and go. They stuff them down their shirts, and the next morning, they wake up in Caroline's bed covered in cupcake.
Caroline used their money to buy Johnny's artwork for Max to destroy to help her get over him and break her pattern. Caroline helps her break the painting, and Max confesses to really liking Johnny. She goes to take a nap before work, and Caroline unplugs her clock to let her sleep.
Current total: $623.25
