Kate Gosselin has arrived in Australia for Steve Irwin Day. The mom of eight wishes her kids could be with her on this trip Down Under, but they are in school. This is her second time visiting the beautiful country, and she seems very excited to be back.
"Hello! Here in
Aussieland and having SO much fun! Wish my kids were here too— greatly missed! FYI I will be at Aus Zoo all day Tuesday! Would love to see you there!" Kate tweeted on Sunday.
It sounds like Kate is really enjoying her time, but missing her brood back home. It has to be tough to leave your kids for extended periods of time, but Kate doesn't go on big trips too often. This is going to be a fun time for Kate, who is going to meet up with her friends, the Irwin's. She had loads of fun last time she was in Oz and you can only imagine that this time will be great too.
Although she misses her kids, she will be able to do some grown-up stuff on this trip, and she deserves to have a great time!

She doesn't get away often by herself? Hmmm....there was a recent get away to New York Sans Kids - and a recent getaway to have her photo taken with the Coupon Clippers - in another state, of course - and now there's Australia! And I bet those poor kids can't understand why they can't be taken out of school this time - why Mommy won't be a real Mom and pay for their plane tickets, too. I'm thinking at least the twins are old enough to not fall for this crap.
