What do the Duggar family have in common with the Kardashians? Nothing, right? Wrong. According to one website, the Duggars and Kardashians both disgrace family life, and good, old-fashioned values.
So, how is the Duggar family like the Kardashians? They aren't celebrities. They do not have millions of Twitter followers or hold huge television specials when a member of the family gets married. (And later divorced!) However, there are a few similarities between these to controversial reality TV clans.
As Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar announce they're expecting their 20th child (yes, you read that right!), Kim Kardashian and her family are making headlines because of her shocking divorce to Kris Humphries.
According to one website, both families should be ashamed of themselves for their irresponsible actions. Let's start with the Duggars. While Jim Bob and Michelle have proven to be good parents (from fans of their reality TV show), is their choice to have so many kids a mistake?
Of course, there is not a law on how many children one can have. However, in a hurting economy, it might not be the best idea to raise a family the size of a public school classroom. The website also makes the point that Michelle isn't getting any younger, and she should be more worried about her health. (She does have 19 other kids who count on her!)
The Kardashians are on a much different level than the Duggar family. They have made their lives into an open book. It seems cameras have captured every moment of their lives for years, and the fans are still loving it.
Kim Kardashian's recently divorce shocker may have possibly opened the eyes of some fans. The day after announcing the end of her marriage, Kim flew to Australia to do a television interview, and mom Kris Jenner took to The Today Show, The View, and other hot programs to dish on her daughter's "misery." Was it all about the exposure?
While these are two very different families, The Duggars and Kardashians prove what a pop culture-obsessed world we live in, and that some people are willing to document their lives for money, fame, and fun. Do you think the Duggar family and Kardashians are being irresponsible with their public actions?
