Lea Michele has a few things to say about the upcoming Tuesday night Glee sex episode-and one of the words she uses is 'iconic.' Tuesday night's episode has been highly anticipated, and will feature key Glee characters in the acts of losing their virginities.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Lea, in her role as Rachel, is just one of those people experiencing a sexual encounter for the very first time. Aptly titled "First Time," the episode will find Rachel and Finn, as well as Kurt and Blaine having sex.
"You know I really think it's an iconic episode and it was done really tastefully and I think it feels for that issue in a really smart way," Lea Michele says. She was talking about the upcoming episode at the 2011 Glamour Women of the Year Awards gala.
"So, if there are kids out there who are thinking about this issue I think it'll be great for them to see," she adds.
How do you feel about Glee featuring such a tender subject during prime time TV? Of course the episode is said to be very discreetly filmed, and not a lot of skin will be shown. The show also features the subject of gay sex, which many people may find offensive.
It is indeed going to be an iconic issue of Glee, as Lea Michele described, and she is incredibly excited for it to air. Hopefully it will be well received by viewers and critics alike.
