The Duggar family of 19 Kids & Counting fame made a big announcement on the Today Show on Tuesday. What did Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, along with their nineteen kids, one daughter-in-law and two grandchildren have to share with the media?
It seems that 19 Kids & Counting will soon become 20 Kids & Counting. Yes, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are in fact expecting their 20th child.
"It's the longest we've gone," Michelle Duggar said on the Today Show Tuesday morning.
The Duggar children have all been born much closer together than the space between their 19th child, Josie Duggar, and the impending birth of their 20th baby.
The Duggar family suffered great angst with the premature birth of little Josie Duggar. Born many weeks ahead of schedule, she spent long months in the hospital before coming home to join her large family, and then wound up subsequently hospitalized a few times after her discharge.
The Duggar family rely on their faith in God for everything. They believe that God should be the one to choose how many children they should have, and therefore Jim Bob and Michelle don't rely on any birth control methods whatsoever. Some people question the physical safety of having a 20th child, because of the significant health issues little Josie Duggar suffered--not to mention the toll it is taking on Michelle Duggar's health. Some wonder if Josie Duggar's premature birth might have been a sign from God that nineteen children were plenty.
Despite what people think or wonder, the Duggar family is in fact expecting their 20th child. The announcement has been made and the news is official. This means TLC will once again have to change the title of their reality TV show--but they probably won't mind. The addition of yet another child to the Duggar family will no doubt draw in even more viewers.
What do you think of the Duggar's big announcement?

I do worry for her safety and health but I am sure that she is going to get adaquate prenatal care and Little "J" will too. Have to call the child that, as they have named every other child with a "J". Don't think they will break this tradition.
The closest I can say would be having an adoption fall through at the last moment. you plan for months, have a name, dream of what s/he will look like, then a week before the due date, your heart gets ripped out.
