Hayden Panettiere shared the MTV EMAs stage with a nude streaker who turned out to be none other than Irish actor David Monahan. The pair ended up making a date for a pint after the awards show.
Because Hayden Panettiere did not seem to be too terribly surprised by the naked man showing up during her presentation, some people thought the nude stunt was planned. That and the fact that nobody dragged the actor off the stage makes the moment feel scripted. David Monahan certainly did not worry at all that his manly bits were giggling all over the state. Of course, when he reached the Heroes star, he covered up as they talked.
Obviously the MTV European Music Awards are much more progressive than the awards shows in the U.S. That type of on-air nudity would not make it past the censors here. Should it be allowed to, or is a jumping, prancing nude streaker too much especially given the young age of much of the audience.
