With the recent Justin Bieber "Otis" freestyle rap on the radio, and now the Internet, many are wondering if he really delivered the verse straight off the top of his head. An online site is now speculating on the identity of JB's ghost writer, with potential authors of the verse.
The ghost writer is a skilled author of rap verses providing material for an artist to deliver vocally so it sounds good. There's many who believe that's what Justin Bieber used for his latest rap attempt. Over at VIBE.com, they've got five guesses at who may have written Justin's freestyle he delivered over the Kanye West and Jay-Z "Otis" beat. Getting straight to the point, they've guessed it could be Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, Drake, Kanye West, or Ludacris. Justin has worked with several of these artists already, with VIBE saying Chris Brown has a similar flow and could help "write an age-appropriate" rhyme.
VIBE says their top suspect of the five is in fact Ludacris. Luda was part of the whole Justin Bieber freestyle BET Cypher scandal. DJ Premiere was said to have banned JB from being part of the cypher at the awards show because Ludacris was his ghost writer. That all got denied, and Premier recently said he'd actually like to work with Bieber in the future, if he sees him write out his own original rhyme.
JB's certainly a talented entertainer. He's got legions of fans based on his singing skills and has tried rap as well. When it comes down to it, wouldn't it be great if Justin Bieber really did that freestyle "Otis" rap off the top of his head? Do you think he had someone else write the verse or really came up with it on the fly?
