Fired - Saturday writing essentials

Sorry, I know it doesn't really fit the prompt, but I'm trying to complete my October drips so this is what came to mind. Thanks for the inspiration.

Red-eyed demon waits to kill,

Fork-tailed demon on the hill,

Twin-horned demon, feeling tired

He let his victim go; he’s fired;

Angel-winged he’s heaven-hired

Instead.
