Sorry To Say But You Make Me Laugh

Some writers choose pretentious words ..
Expressing verbose word combinations
They miss their intellectual marvels are
Well worded but with no foundations.
They view their masterpiece so clever
Soaring adjectives and majestic nouns
Some how the point of their nonsense
Is lost in the "noise" of all those sounds....
Sometimes their writings look so insane
I think they must have lost their minds
Saying things that don't make any sense
Though appearing so well refined...
"Pompous writing judgmental repast"
Not linking - all the words they use
Loudly lacking some comprehension
Showing how they often are confused...
Got to feel sorry for those who do
Ramble on and have no clue
For if they had any idea
They would find better things to do
Maybe cruelness blinds them to
Things obvious many others see
Thinking they are being so clever
While losing their own dignity
Sometimes it makes me laugh
I'm ashamed to admit I do
They so want to be seen so "slick"
But they wind up stuck in some "goo..."
You can try to point it out
And wind up with verbose atrocities
Sometimes better just to smile
Avoiding perceived dichotomies
The apparent hypocrisy of this poem
Is it is chock full of "highfalutin" words
Kinda making it tongue in cheek
Hmmm, should I add some more "adverbs?"
( "highfalutin" -can be found in the On-line Etymology Dictionary)
