Kim Kardashian made sure to hammer out an ironclad prenuptial agreement before her doomed ratings-ploy sham of a marriage to Kris Humphries. But now that former flame Reggie Bush might be back in the picture, the prenup could be worthless -- and the Kardashian family fortune (worth an estimated $500 million!) could be on the line, In Touch Weekly is reporting on its website.
"In high-profile marriages, there are often cheating clauses in a prenup," Adam Michael Sacks, a Beverly Hills divorce lawyer, dishes to the mag. "If this is the case, the document could be made null and void."
Kim was spotted out with Reggie last weekend, a few days before filing for divorce and claiming she almost called off the wedding. A "close pal" tells In Touch that the pair have been getting close again -- and that "all of Kim's friends know" she's "still in love with him."
"Kim and Reggie have been talking and texting a lot lately," the insider tells the mag. "I wouldn't be surprised if they have taken things further."
Even if Kim Kardashian didn't "technically" cheat on Kris Humphries, going out in public with an ex-boyfriend is colossally stupid if she has a cheating clause in her prenup. (It also doesn't make her look good in the eyes of the public, which is already not buying her claims that Kris is mean, using her for fame, etc.) The Kardashians have been in major damage control mode lately trying to blame everything on Kris, and after what they've put that poor guy through, hopefully he's able to get a piece of that $500 million to make the past few months sting a bit less.
What do you think? Did Kim Kardashian cheat with Reggie Bush? Should Kris Humphries take her for all she's worth? Sound off in the comments!
