The Kim Kardashian divorce story has had everyone talking—perhaps nowhere as much as on the social networking site, Twitter.
Kim Kardashian herself is a big time Twitter user, too. With over 10 million followers, she is one of the most popular celebrities on the site. In fact, she is actually in the top five of Twitter followers.
With Twitter being one of the main ways that people now spread news, it was no surprise to see the news about the Kim Kardashian divorce hit the site almost instantly. Of course, the trending topics soon followed!
As a matter of fact, news of the divorce sparked nine trending topics. One of the most popular trending topics, "#ThingsLongerThanKimsMarriage," was still a top trending topic even today! There were some interesting posts to the topic. "The pause when Dora the Explorer Asks a question," was one of the most popular replies, tweeted by many users.
Of course, there were also some positive words for Kim Kardashian on Twitter! Her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, both tweeted their support for their sister.
Twitter is an amazing tool for helping to spread news quickly. With so many active users, though, there is always room for negativity on the site. Like most other social networking sites, Twitter has its good points and its bad.
Kim Kardashian is currently in Australia with her sister Khloe. They are there to promote their new line of handbags.
