Princess Charlene of Monaco and her husband, Prince Albert II headed to New York City for this year's Princess Grace Awards Gala. The gala, held at Cipriani's on November 1st, honored Julie Andrews and movie director Jon Cho.
Charlene Wittstock looked lovely in nude and black lace. The Princess wore a sleeveless Christian Dior gown with a kind of dark elegance to it. The long gown fit Charlene's statuesque frame beautifully.
In September, French actress Marion Cotillard wore the same gown at the New York premiere of Steven Soderbergh's Contagion. Like Marion, Charlene also wore her hair up. The Princess' loose updo added softness to her beaded look. Both Princess Charlene and Marion Cotillard wore defined eye make-up and light lip color. Although, Charlene added delicate earrings to complement her gown.
Other guests who joined Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II at the Princess Grace Awards were models Selita Ebanks and Petra Nemcova, and singers Martha and Rufus Wainwright. Olivia Palermo and boyfriend Johannes Huebl were also present. In a rare style misstep, the former reality TV personality wore an ill-fitting peach dress, which looked dangerously loose on her.
