I like to brag about folks on Gather to hubby, but he's about as interested as I'm interested in liver. He placates me sometimes, but...liver. lol
Thanks to Anne, there is one person he got to see quality from - you. She sent me a card a few weeks ago and it's your artwork. As often as I've talked about you and "wifey." (I'm sure your wife wants to be called "wifey" as much as I want to eat liver, but I swear, I don't talk about either of you often - because we don't cross pass often - but it is always a brag), I'm so glad he got to see your artwork. You're really very good - well worth seeing on paper as well as screen. He doesn't get to see my friends on Gather often (liver lol), so it was a great day when I got to show him you, through your artwork. Definitely German chocolate cake, not liver! Even he thinks so.
I hope you know you could make money with your artwork, if you wanted to. You really are that good. Even though our spiritual beliefs are different, your artwork is so good, it transcends the differences and speaks to the heart, while pleasing the eyes. I've been kidding about the differences between liver and German chocolate cake. I know there are people who love either or who hate either, but there are more people who love German chocolate cake than liver. In that respect, your artwork really is German chocolate cake.
Thank you so much for the positive rave. I'm glad to hear that the art on my card appealed to both you and your hubby. I had no idea that Ann was using them that way, and that's Awesome !!
German Chocolate cake it is.
My Very Best To You
Thank you for sharing with Gather's Best Writers & Artists!
I agree w. Ann ..send a pict. to some of the contemporary galleries in Santa Fe. I use to have one there that represented me but they went under
The being in yellow is not really meant to be a "Deity." My intention was that it represent the soul of the aspirant rising heavenward as a result of the practice of prayer and meditation.
On the other note, I would love to have my work in a gallery. I get so overwhelmed by the cloud of unknowing that hovers around that concept that I've end up frozen and doing nothing in every case. If you have some light or direction to share on the process it would be much appreciated.
Best To You :-)
