A HALLOWEEN TREAT!!!

It's getting tiresome to be posting about all my doctor visits, but, this was too good not to pass on.

 

 

We went in for a routine follow up visit, this morning. My doctor asked me if I was feeling alright and, of course I answered in the affirmative. Having kept tabs of my blood pressure and blood sugar numbers, I showed her the two lists. She seemed very pleased that both numbers are great!!!

 

 

What came next, surprised the heck out of me!!! She asked me if I've tried getting off of the Benicar. I said no because it has to be OK'd by a doctor. She said, "Ok, well I want you to get off of it!!!!" I thought, "You want me to do what????" You can bet that this was pure music to my ears!!! I almost asked her if this was a trick!!! LOL

 

 

She gave me a word of warning, though. She said if I begin to notice my blood pressure creeping up, to get back on it, but, I'm going to do my very best to avoid this!

I have hypertension, too. I am currently in an investigative trial to see the effect of a combo of current blood pressure medicines. This is the third trial I have participated in. Maybe someday, I will find the right medicine.
