The 2011 College football season has gotten off to a great start for the #4 Wisconsin Badgers, but the first real test of the Big Ten season comes this weekend. The Badgers travel to East Lansing to take on the #15 ranked Michigan State Spartans this Saturday night, live on ABC and streaming online.
If Wisconsin is for real they had better be ready this weekend, as they attempt to beat Michigan State in East Lansing for the first time in nine years.
Wisconsin (6-0, 2-0 Big Ten) is off to its best start since 2004, when they started 9-0. Incredibly the Badgers have averaged 50 points per game this season!
Yes, this is the football team, not the basketball team!
The only question to be answered yet is can Wisconsin beat a good team and can they win on the road? Wisconsin's great start cannot be discredited, but outside of Nebraska, the Badgers have not played any quality teams and they haven't had to leave their home field.
