Jonah Hill Phone Number on 'The Sitter' Poster Leads to 250,000 Calls

Jonah Hill received over 250,000 phone calls after his number appeared on a poster for his upcoming movie The Sitter. Fans left the newly thin actor over 100,000 voicemails. It is rather odd that the poster used his real phone number.

The actor said he enjoyed randomly talking to fans of him and The Sitter. The Jonah Hill phone number, 917-409-7838, originally led to a hotline, but the actor decided to actually get a phone with the number so that he could interact with fans. That is some real devotion to the craft for sure.

Jonah Hill said, "It's really funny. People are really shocked when I pick up the phone. They mostly just kind of can't believe that it's actually me. They mostly go, 'Oh man, what's up, what are you doing?' But the excited version of that. And I go, 'I'm just hanging out, what are you doing?' And they're like 'Oh, what are you doing? What's up?'"
