Is 'X Factor' USA Host Steve Jones Facing the Axe?

If the gossip is true, then The X Factor USA host Steve Jones may well be out of the job very soon. Numerous sources say the gentleman from the UK could be facing the dreaded axe, much the same as colleague Cheryl Cole did when she was pulled off the Fox reality show and Nicole Scherzinger was planted in her spot, pronto.

Meanwhile, while one report doesn't say Steve Jones will be fired from The X Factor USA, he may be getting a new partner in the way of a co-host. If this is true, this change will occur once the live shows begin.

If you recall, the Welsh presenter once did have a co-host: one Nicole Scherzinger. But then when she was moved to the judges' table from the stage after Cole was left wondering what happened to her job, Jones was left on his own.

So, if the powers that be at X Factor USA are merely looking to replace someone who had been there in the past, then Steve Jones is probably secure in his job. If not, and if these TV show decision-makers are actually looking for another personality to take on the job of host as a solo act, then this nice guy better look out. Show business on this side of the pond can be really ruthless, so hopefully Jones not only knows that fact but avoids that scene on The X Factor USA if at all possible.
