The Lady Gaga meat dress? So last year. Ditto the egg incubator, those pants-less instances, Jo Calderone and everything in between. Now the latest is all about some serious leather and a satellite dish (what else?) for the boundaries-breaking "You and I" singer. The pop sensation has recently been filming her "Marry The Night" music video, the fifth single from her Born This Way album, in Harlem, New York, where these wild and crazy ensembles have made their fashion-forward début.
First up was Gaga's sexy black leather number, a strapless and short jumpsuit-like affair, which she sported with stilettos, alien-blue lipstick and a short, mussed up blonde crop. But her near dominatrix turn was no match for the other-worldly outfit that followed.
Lady Gaga put on some serious head-gear, donning a metallic hat that covered her entire face leaving only small eye hole slits. The creation looked like it could have been a satellite dish plucked from any nearby rooftop. Talk about another "only Gaga" moment! It seems she couldn't even walk safely while wearing the massive fascinator, as one of the crew were spotted carrying her around the music video set, according to Daily Mail. But, she'll obviously suffer just about anything for her avant-garde style.
She paired her "satellite dish" with a ruby-hued, flowing dress, playing the ultimate lady in red. Speaking of dresses, Lady Gaga also recently pulled off another outrageous look, this time paying maximum tribute to her Little Monster fan club. For a fashion film benefiting the MAC Viva Glam campaign, of which Gaga is a spokesperson, she wore a Nicola Formichetti design bearing the photo prints of many of her fans' faces. Dubbed "The Masterpiece," this inspired look definitely tops the leather catsuit and metal dish moment any day. Her fans would no doubt agree!
