Welcome to the Weekend edition of Today on Gather. I hope you find the information in this edition helpful in your everyday life and uplifting as well.
I wanted to bring your attention to a few posts by Chuck of member support  today.Â
Â
![]() | As you may have noticed from my profile status lately, I've declared war on spam . With the help of colleagues here at Team Gather, and reports from the community, we identified and removed about 61,000 . . . Gather is  looking for improvement in general site performance, since the removal of large numbers of accounts and content pages should speed up some parts of the site, such as search and any "My Gather" page feeds that are based on search.  All of the advice for identifying and reporting spam that we laid out in this January article still applies. You may report spam as you encounter it, but please leave the proactive spam hunting to me! |

Where To Find Things On Gather  Do you often get confused when you are looking for something in particular? You are not alone, it seems that we all forget where things are when we don't access them on a daily basis.  There is a wonderful post written by Gather support Chuck McGuire. It has just about everything you need to know in a simple to read format. |
In an attempt to get your questions and problems taken care of in a timely manner, Gather has a staff of customer support agents just for your problems. However, keep in mind that they cannot help you if you don't tell them what is going on. Please refer all your questions, concerns, and feedback to the official Gather HELP FORM. The Gather staff will respond (if necessary) by email. The Gather Help Desk will be used for important announcements so feel free to check it out from time to time. Keep In Mind that Gather will email you, at your regular email account NOT your Gather email. |

That is strange. Wonder what happened to your email? Is it on gather or your regular email?
You are very welcome. You have a great weekend as well. I am glad you had an opportunity to view the columns.
It is always good to see you. Did you enjoy the columns and other spotlights in this weekend edition?
I don't think I will ever get caught up on gather. I just keep getting more and more behind.
I love doing ceramics. I have a Christis that I made a few years ago that is my favorite piece of ceramics. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I used to it. It has been a few years since I made anything though.
How are you making your Christmas Trees? I made a few with coat hangers that really look good
We have to get a new "smaller" tree for the living room, though.....I found one at Super Target that I want to get, as well as some gold/white garlands for the chain link fence outdoors.
One year I did try making the trees with coat hangers, but didn't turn out too good for me.....LOL!
The trees sound beautiful. I do hope you are taking photos to post on gather. Send me the links and I will spotlight them in the Today post
You know, I took my photos and photo note cards over to our Senior Center and showed them to everybody, including our director and the activity director......they went absolutely crazy over them.....said that I had a "real" talent and that I should start selling them, that they were just incredible....people were "oohing" and "aahing"...........I keep getting some "gentle nudges" about this and am thinking that maybe I am supposed to turn this favorite hobby of mine into a business.....but am a bit "afraid" of taking the risk.....guess I'll never know unless I try.
If I ever am able to post the photos here again, I'll be sure to let you know......sure hope and pray you're feeling better and that you'll have a very nice Thanksgiving.
I have not seen you for a long time. How are you doing?
I am glad you enjoyed all the columns and other spotlights in this edition.
How are you doing?
I hope you are doing better.
My body is trying to set a new record for "longest cold ever," so I haven't been on much for the last two weeks. This is a feast for sore eyes. At this moment I'm feeling better. (I thought I was feeling better two days ago, but last night was my worst night with the cold.) Thanks, Connie. This is like a first cup of coffee in the morning - a reminder all is right with the world to be enjoyed.
Sean's eating French Onion Soup. Patricia reminded me that I'm not alone. All's right with the world. Thanks.
