After bringing the stray donkey's here and not knowing a thing about them. They just roamed around about 15 acres. My Aunt and us called the law. Sorry , nothing we can do. The kid who brought them here also did nothing. No feed no water.
Day two after we fed them and gave them a water bucket and let them use one of our cat bowls. The kid called all his friends and finally got someone to come try. [try being the key word] to load them in a trailer. Got the big one loaded , but this morning the little one was back in m yard. Donald went back over and tied it up again , with our rope. Both days getting his fingers bleeding . The little one was kicking at him. Not wanting to be restrained. Had he kicked Donald one time it would have killed him. Taking blood thinners , he would have bleed to death internally. I wish The law would come and get them. Horse theift is still on the books here. He went out of his way to go and get these animals and bring them here. All they would have to do to blow up our homes is step on one of our gas lines. So much damage it could do.
We did take photos and print enough for the kid to go around asking if anyone knew who owned them. Animals who have loving owners, are usually where the animals go back .
I am not a happy camper.

Can the law get there faster, if you bring Donald's medication to their attention?
There is a donkey sanctuary in the country, just outside of Guelph. Is there anything like that near where you live? If this happened here, they'd take care of them, and give them a proper place to live.
hope you are both doing ok!

good luck!
Praise God , no matter how close the fires got, we remained safe.
