Seriously? Don't they think they have enough? The Duggar family of the hit TLC show 19 Kids and Counting say they want to have more children. Who has twenty or more kids these days?
According to a report from Hollywood Life, it's true. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar say they'd like to have more children.
"We would love more but, of course, I'm 45, so we don't know if that will ever happen again," Michelle Duggar says. "But we love more!"
The 19 Kids & Counting family nearly experience heartbreak when the 19th child, baby Josie Duggar was born many weeks premature. The little girl was a fighter and she clung to life, but has experienced a number of health issues ever since.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, along with their family, are devout Christians who believe that God--not them--will decide how many children they are to have. One might translate the premature birth and baby Josie's health concerns as being God's confirmation that perhaps nineteen is enough. But that's not how the 19 Kids and Counting family does things. They will simply continue their attempts at procreation and leave the rest in God's hands.
A lot of good things can be said about the Duggar family, despite the constant criticism they get from the media and other sources. They support their large family--not relying on any kind of state or federal programs to help feed, clothe, house or educate their children.
Many people wo
nder how each child in the 19 Kids and Counting family gets the kind of love and attention each requires, but the kids all seem well adjusted, happy and healthy--so it's clear the Duggars are doing something right.
What do you think about the Duggar's admission that they'd like to have even more children? And do you think perhaps baby Josie's premature birth and serious health concerns could have been God's way of saying, "Enough!"?

There is also NO WAY that these children are getting the kind and amount of attention that they each deserve.
I think many look at the Duggers and say "If that's being a Christian, I don't want any part of it." I think their testimony is being ruined by their obvious addiction to being pregnant and the fame that it has brought them and their family.
but as to the Duggars, I have read each younger child is paired with an older child - the older child is the primary caretaker of the younger child. As an older kid, I didn't like it (I have 2 younger siblings), but it definitely taught me a sense of responsibility that I don't think I would have otherwise obtained..
Who cares how many kids they have, they are supporting them, raising them with values, and providing for them.
As to Christian testimony, some may look down on them, but these type of people will find anything to look down on another person. If it wasn't this, it would be something else.
And what if the Duggars had adopted all 19 kids, I am sure someone would have something to say about that. That they did it for the government subsidies or whatever.
They seem to love children and want what ever God has for them. If God doesn't want them to have anymore children, then I believe that her reproductive system will stop and "close up shop" so to speak. Let nature or "God" handle that part.
