I've been a total slacker on the crafting front for a few weeks — ack! Bad crafter! But I have some pretty reasonable reasons. I've been busy working, to put it simply, although it's been a long road getting to this particular "job." ;)
I do have a craft show coming up later this month that I need to make some more yarn for, though, and I need to get cracking on that Very Soon. (Send crafty thoughts if you have them to spare.)
So what about you? Have you been creative lately? What have you been making? Or are you planning on doing some crafting soon — like maybe for holiday gifts?
There's also NaNoWriMo coming up next month, and I'd like to do some warmup exercises for that, but whew. That's another thing entirely!

Trying to get ready for the three day Thanksgiving Show in Canada (last week) I had four of the stores that sell my stuff asking for more stock ( that's a good thing) and spent my time doing those orders. While at the show i brought my paints and slate and did about 50 special orders. I am starting right now ( late October to get ready for that show next year. I keep good records and if it didn't sell this year or last year it will be changed for next year. This winter, my down time I hope to be a bit more focused and update my lists of things that sell and remove those that don't all the time looking for new ideas.
You sound like you really have it together! I'm writing a mental note to ask you if I ever need some good business advice ... ;)
However, I can throw a great, organized party for kids or adults, I can come up with great ideas for science projects, I can put together a super presentation for work...so I am a little creative in those ways.
