Steve Jobs Death Caused by Himself Says Harvard...

The world is still mourning Steve Jobs after he died from pancreatic cancer on Oct. 5. However, as family and friends are left in shock, one man, Ramzi Amri of Harvard Medical School, believes Jobs probably ended up killing himself by seeking alternative remedies before starting conventional treatment. certainly isn't going to win any friends in the alternative medicine world now.

Let me cut to the chase: Mr. Jobs allegedly chose to undergo all sorts of alternative treatment options before opting for conventional medicine. Given the circumstances, it seems sound to assume that Mr. Jobs' choice for alternative medicine has eventually led to an unnecessarily early death... We saw the tumor slowly draining the life out him. It was a horrible thing to see him lose weight and slowly turn into a skin and bones form of himself.

I wrote that on a PERSONAL title, and it's my PERSONAL opinion. I do not pretend to know anything about the case on a personal level, and I never participated in the care of Mr. Jobs. I base all my cancer figures on my own research or sources from biomedical research known to me... I have done 1.5 years of research on the type of tumor that affected Steve Jobs and have some strong opinions on his case.

Sadly, it is very possible that Steve Jobs' desire to seek alternative remedies did contribute or cause his death. No matter what the real reason was, his family and friends are still devastated. Jobs was an amazing man and will forever be remembered as one of the titans of technology.

I think this Harvard expert and everybody else should give Steve Jobs a break for how he treated his cancer. This Harvard expert never met Steve Jobs so he doesn't know what his condition was. I'm getting tired of people bashing Steve Jobs for how he handled his cancer. Just let Steve Jobs be in peace and stop doing the ''what if'' thing. I'm also thinking about his family and I know they probably don't want to hear what their father/husband should/could have done with his cancer. Also let his family and friends be in peace too.

(a) It's his life and how he treats a cancer in his body is his business.

(b) Opinions from people at Harvard Medical School or any other institution that is funded by pharmaceutical companies and other "healthcare" entities should be taken in small doses with several grains of salt.

Conventional medicine has to my knowledge given people with pancreatic cancer a 6 months to 2 years window before they succumb to this terrible disease. Now if Steve Jobs lived something like 6 years following diagnosis and had natural medicine treatment prior to agreeing to conventional medicine treatment, I would think that this JERK from Harvard is barking up the WRONG tree!

I think that's ridiculous. Clearly, there are many - too many - people who simply don't know enough about cancer to be thinking out loud about it.

My brother went to the hospital with a stomach ache and died seven days later from pancreatic cancer. The fact that Steve Jobs lived as long as he did with this disease is nothing short of a miracle - regardless of any treatment he was or wasn't getting.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive cancers. Two people very close to me, one rich, one poor, both on conventional treatments (ironically, the poor one had special cancer insurance, so no holding back of treatment on account of funding), and both died within months. Jobs seems to have beaten the odds, by a long shot with his alternative choices.

I think its sad to see this person talk badly about the treatment. Its clear that Mr Jobs lived longer than many expected him to survive. I really feel for his family.

I think he should mind his own beeswax, I mean business. People shouldn't do this kind of thing, I guess it's an ego trip. No one knows what any patient does or the options but the patient themselves and their families. Sometimes there are other factors involved.

I've never seen a bigger bunch of idiots.

Pancreatic cancer has MANY FORMS. Most people get the adenocarcinoma form which kills fast. Steve Jobs had a neuroendocrine form which kills very slowly! This particular reseracher studies neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer and his patients have a near 100% survival rate at 10yrs. Steve Jobs lived like 7yrs before he died.

No matter what you think, Big Pharma doesn't influence physicians to hurt their patients. Only your ignorance, laziness, and complacence can hurt us.... and, it is! Educate yourselves.
