In case you missed them - these were both interactive Google Doodles (special events on the Google homepage) where you needed to click around and see what all the "letters" did.
For Jim Henson's 75th birthday on September 24th, a group of interactive muppets ; click around to see what they do. At least three of them do something wacky. Or if you don't feel like doing it yourself, you can watch this, but one of them is missing. ;)

For those of you who remember watching Gumby (?"He was once a little green ball of clay..."?) as kids, his creator Art Clokey's 90th birthday was Oct. 12. He and Gumby were pioneers of "claymation" or stop motion animation using clay. The Google Logo blog hasn't posted it yet (I'll update with a link when it does), but you can watch here.

Here's an article on Art Clokey and how Gumby got his name... and 5 stop motion animations for his birthday (including Art's first).

I always love the interactive ones; I hope you do, too. Enjoy!
