we are at the hospital now!

it doesnt sound like it will be any time real soon but none the less...Noah is on the way!

Probably going to be an all nighter, any guesses on when he will actually be born...

Congratulations again to you and Katie. I saw your post on fb earlier. As for his timing, it all depends (such as did the water break or was Katie getting contractions?) I'm guessing between midnight - 3 a.m. tomorrow morning. I guess that walking around yesterday helped :)

Actually, that's not a bad thing. That way there will be some LUCKY Friday the 13th's ahead for him. I can't see any child of Ryan and Katie's having a lousy birthday...EVER! :) So let it be the 13th, so he can blow a hole in one old superstition.

Wow, Ryan.........how exciting! I was just thinking that it should be happening soon!!!!!! I am sooooo thrilled for you....our "kid" was born at 2:30 in the morning, as my doctor wanted to "hurry" to get ready to go diving in the Caribbean......LOL!!!!!!!!

LOL When I was born my poor doctor had the flu, and was wrapped from head to toe in sterilized hospital clothing, and extra gloves, to make sure I didn't catch it. I was the last baby he ever delivered. My mother says that he saw me, and decided to quit delivering babies, because in delivering me, he saw perfection. :)

When I published my cookbook in 2005, he bought a copy. I autographed it "to my Doctor, from the last baby you ever delivered..23 years ago!" :) He LOVED it!

Well, I hate to say it, but likely will be sometime tomorrow morn. Late morning, maybe around 9am. Darn that dreaded 13th. We were worried Anneke would be born on the 13th, too and that would have been a Friday, too, lol.

No matter, it'll be wonderful holding the little one born on the 13th or not. :D Congrats to you both!

Whohoooooo!!!!!!!! First babies don't always take long. It just seems like it lol! I'm going to say he will arrive around 12:30. Just enough to make the next day. Either way CONGRATS! And I hope the labor goes as smoothly as it can. Look forward to picks of your new bundle of joy.

Noah was born at 1138 on Thursday. But things haven't gone so great since then. He didn't cry at birth and they had to try and get him to breath. After that they were observing him and overnight he began having seizure...which got worse. And now we have been transfered to another, bigger. Hospital where they are trying to get to the bottom of all this. He wont be coming home any time soon...not exactly what we had planned.

Walker and I are praying for you, for Katie, and for Noah. Thank you for popping in to let us know, and please keep us posted when you can.

I hope you'll feel better knowing that when I was born things weren't so great either. I only had 80% of my brain, needed blood, and had a few other problems. The docs whisked me off to a bigger hospital in another city. They weren't going to take Mom at first, but she saw me flying by in a bassinet, and she grabbed hold, refusing to let go, unless she went too. And so she did. We stayed there for 12 days, I got the help I needed, and I'm fine!!

I am hoping that whatever challenges Noah is facing at birth, he will soon overcome, and that he will easily and confidently overcome any and all challenges that he may face in his life.

Again, you're in our prayers.
