Monday Nite Football - Detroit Lions 5-0 first...

Monday Night Football between the lions and the bears was a record-setting game. Lions win 28 - 13 to go 5 - 0.

Megatron (aka Wide Receiver Calvin Johnson) became the first player in league history to catch NINE touchdown passes in the first five games of the season.

The Lions hosted their first Monday Night game in ten years.

They've now won five straight games to start the season for the first time in more than half a century.

Jahvid Best scored the second longest running touchdown (88 yds) in Lions' history. The longest was a 1948 run by someone I never heard of (Hell, I was only six at the time).

D-fense was ASTOUNDING! Bears Q-back Cutler was run all over the field all night long.

I'm watching the party and downtown Detroit will be rockin' and rollin' ALL nite long!!!

This was a hard one for me because I'm a fan of both but the Lions come first. so YAY!!

Well, I'm a Patriots fan, but it is great to see success like this, especially since it seems long overdue...but the season continues...I hope their success does too... (knock on wood)
