Fans of True Blood still have a long wait ahead of them before season five premieres this summer, but there are some small teasing spoilers now out from one of the stars of the series, Alexander Skarsgard. The man behind Eric Northman is busy filming movies during his break from the series, and while promoting one of his new films, Melancholia, he took the time to talk about the series.
In the season four finale, fans saw Eric and Bill join together to kill Nan, and this isn't the first time the pair teamed up against an enemy, and it won't be the last either. With Russell returning in season five, there is trouble coming, and these two vampires will likely have to put away their differences to battle this common foe.
According to Hollywood Crush, Skarsgard said the following about the potential for season five: "That's been fun. Stephen is awesome. I love working with him. It's an interesting dynamic between those two guys, those two characters. I could see that. I don't know. I haven't read—they're breaking season five now, so I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm sure there's going to be some nice Bill and Eric moments."
As for the man behind Bill Compton, Stephen Moyer is currently busy filming his own hiatus film project, The Barrens. That is a movie that focuses on the New Jersey Devil. Mia Kirshner co-stars with Moyer in that project.
It is still months away from the start of season five, so fans are taking all the details they can right now because for True Blood fans, all this waiting does suck.
