Ashley Hebert, the whiny, annoying, insecure "Bachelorette," and her final-rose recipient, the whiny, annoying, insecure J.P. Rosenbaum, "will get married on TV, it's guaranteed," a former "Bachelor" contestant tells Life & Style.
The insider claims planning is already under way for a spring wedding somewhere on the West Coast, likely California.
"It will take place as early as next April after Ben [Flajnik, who Ashley rejected in the 'Bachelorette' finale] has his season on 'The Bachelor,'" the friend dishes to the mag.
Will Ashley's famously disapproving sister (clip below) be the maid of honor? Even though she totally backtracked and claimed to be "Team Cupcake" on the "After the Final Rose" special, it was obvious she still wasn't convinced J.P. was right for Ashley!
But ABC is convinced J.P. Rosenbaum is right for Ashley Hebert and "is happy to pay for a wedding when it knows the couple are as happy and in love as Ashley and JP are," the insider tells Life & Style.
Oh, come on. ABC is paying because it has to convince viewers that this show is actually about finding love and not just ratings. There have been 22 combined seasons of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," and only one final couple from either show -- first-season "Bachelorette" Trista Rehn and her final choice, Ryan Sutter -- has made it down the aisle. (Jason Mesnick, the 13th "Bachelor," ended up marrying Molly Malaney from his season, but she didn't receive the final rose. Sixth-season "Bachelorette" Ali Fedotowsky is still with her final choice, Roberto Martinez, but they haven't married yet.) Even including the other two couples, that's an abysmal success rate. So ABC and "Bachelor/Bachelorette" producers have to prop up their final couples and keep them in the public eye so viewers forget all those other failed relationships.
What do you think? Will Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum make it down the aisle? Will they break up like almost every other final "Bachelorette" couple? And are you excited for Ben's upcoming season of "The Bachelor"? Sound off in the comments!
