For you that didn't see my other article Emily had an Auro Hematoma. We had to give her medicine for pain and inflammation over the weekend.
This was her ear before surgery
Yesterday she went into surgery and got to come home today.
This is the outside of her ear now after surgery
The inside of her ear
We have to massage her ear starting tomorrow. I don't want to but guess its got to be done. I may try to talk Eric into doing it. Right as Eric was going over the vets orders, medicines, and telling me how she wasn't suppose to jump; guess what she did? Yep jumped right into my chair. When we caught her she jumped back down and yelped. Don't think she will be doing that again, or she hasn't so far since.
While she was in and under we had her spayed. Emily is approximately seven years old according to the vets figures, and been abused by previous owners.
We got her crate ready put, put water and food in her crate and now she is resting. She sure isn't happy about the crate thing though. She has now tore up her pillow which I need to fix. We may have to end up calling the vet for a cone. She keeps scratching her ear, and messing with her belly.
For tonight though she is resting. She usually sleeps with mommy at night so not real sure how this will be.
