Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber Among Bad...

When it comes to Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber the two young stars have different reputations. Bieber is generally known as a good guy and boyfriend of Selena Gomez. Meanwhile, Miley has shed her innocent Hannah Montana image for all sorts of "growing up" and controversy including a lap dance, a salvia bong smoking video and the S&M concert outfits she's donned. However, the two singing and acting stars have also played bad characters in their various TV or movie roles spawning debates on whether they should continue, and if they make bad influence role models.

One website is examining a group of young stars who have gone from good to bad, in their acting roles. Young adult Miley Cyrus has in the past few months poked fun at other celebs including Lindsay Lohan and Justin Bieber during her appearance on "Saturday Night Live." The new web article notes that Miley Cyrus also played an angry, rebellious teen named Ronnie Miller in the movie "The Last Song." Bieber played a villainous, bad boy role for "CSI" as troubled teen Jason McCann. The website adds that Miley does well as a good girl and bad girl, while Biebs tends to be "such a sweetie" that they'd rather he be that way. The website report doesn't discount that he could play more villain roles in the future though. Parents will hope they can educate their kids who are looking up to these two as role models that TV and movies are just acting. That will prevent anyone trying to emulate them based on the roles they play.

As for real life, it seems Miley has one up on Justin in the bad category. Justin has a few brushes with controversy and the law, but nothing serious. Miley hasn't been arrested, but has pushed the limits with her concert attire, Twitter pics and various "activities." That's not to say Miley is a good girl gone bad, but she's closer to that side. As for Bieber, he's still got years to go bad. While some female fans may like the "bad boy image", Biebs has legions of "Beliebers" (and their parents) who will hope that Justin stays good.
