Can you believe there are now welfare recipients that are SUING the state of Michigan so they can keep receiving free taxpayers money?
In 2007, Democratic Governor Jennifer Granholm signed a law a 48-month time limit on TANF (TEMPORARY assistance to Needy Families) cash benefits.  However, the law allowed a great leeway to agencies assisting those applying to waiver the limit. Able-bodied persons were staying at home receiving taxpayer’s money for not working.  The law, only originally written for four years, was set to expire in late September 2011.  Â
On September 6, as many able-bodied people were taking advantage of this TEMPORARY assistance to needy families instead of working, a new law passed Governor Rick Snyder’s desk, tightening the ability for these agencies to grant people waivers on the time limits.
Now the angry mob are rising up in attempt to sue the state of Michigan for free benefits. It makes me even angrier at them, that taxpayers money will be used to defend the state against these ridiculous claims.
Where will it end?
