Frank and Louie, a cat that was born with two faces, has set the world record for longevity for a Janus cat.  Janus cats, named after the Roman God Janus, (and so is the month of January) who also had two faces (one for looking forward and one for looking back) usually only live 3 or 4 days, but Frank and Louie is twelve years old!
Frank and Louie almost never had a chance to make it to twelve. A
breeder dropped him off at a vet when he was one day old, to be euthanized. That’s where Marty, his loving owner came in.   She was working as a veterinarian nurse and fell in love with and decided to adopt him! Everyone was skeptical and told her these cats only live a few days, but she was determined to do what she could for the fluffy grey kitten.
