Josh Powell, the only person of interest in the disappearance of Susan Cox Powell, isn't going to get his children back anytime soon. The husband of the missing woman attended a hearing today where he lost temporary parental rights.
Sources report that Josh Powell lost rights to his children today due to the investigator on his wife's case suspicion of him. He's long been reported as the only person of interest in her disappearance, and police have done all but publicly label him a "suspect." Last week, Josh's father, Steve Powell, was arrested on charges of voyeurism and child pornography, leading police to reveal that the entire Powell household is now under investigation. CPS removed the children from the home and placed them into the care of the missing woman's parents, their maternal grandparents.
It was a moment of rejoice for the Cox family who have been kept from seeing their grandsons for nearly as long as their daughter, Susan Cox Powell, has been missing. Josh Powell still insists that he is innocent of any wrongdoing and continues to wear his wedding ring. Still, his testimonies of how he had no knowledge of his father's porno problems differ from his own sister's comments. The daughter of Steve Powell told sources that her father took her on a business trip with him when she was 11 years old and watched a pornographic film in her presence.
