The summer of 2012 will be rockin' for pets owned by Bret Michaels' fans. The legendary Poison frontman, Celebrity Apprentice winner, diabetes activist, reality television star and solo musician has added a new talent to his résumé: pet toy creator. Is there anything this hunk doesn't do?
New Pet Toys
Michaels, an avid pet lover and owner said he wanted to create, "a line of pet products every bit as fun and cool as they are" in a recent issue of Pet Product News. The Bret Michaels Pets Rock collection will sell exclusively at Petsmart stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico starting in the summer of 2012.
Let's hope Michaels' rock-and-roll vibe comes through loud and clear in the new toy collection. How about a "Look What the Cat Dragged In" catnip toy for felines or an "Open Up and Say... Ahh!" chew toy for dogs?
Details about the exact types of toys haven't been released.
The Bret Michaels Pets Rock collection isn't the first celebrity-based toy line to grace the shelves of Petsmart. Dog-lover and craft goddess Martha Stewart also sells pet toys exclusively at Petsmart.
