The Lion King
Ever since seeing the release in theaters last week I've been on a Lion King obsession. I may have stayed up until 1am the other night looking at Lion King stuff. Did you know they made a series called "The Lion King: Six New Adventures?" In it, Simba and Nala have a SON-Kopa. Why is he not in the movies-many speculate he was killed by Zira. I want the book series, but its rare and just one book is $7.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
Not going to lie, I'm dying to make this tomorrow for my Bible Study dinner. It's also made me crave cookies and cream like no other. I'm serving it with fruit too. Heaven!
Lounge pants
I have a confession-I don't like jeans one bit. I do however love shorts and lounge pants. They're so comfortable and I can do anything (except teach!) in them. If I were to take over the world, it'd be in sweatpants. I love them that much. Gauchos are pretty close too and I can wear those to teach ;)
Gleaning and volunteering
On Saturday my church is going gleaning (for those who don't know, its when you go in after a crop is picked and get remnants to give the poor). I'm really excited as we're heading out early in the morning and picking away! On Tuesday, I'm helping to hand out meals to the hungry since the local food shelter is closed this month.
To be...Taller
At not even 5'1" (and small framed) the world often feels bigger than it should. At church today I was standing next to two friends at 6'1 and 6'5 respectfully and another at 6'. I felt pretty short, even if I did have heeled sandals! My moms 5'7", but sadly I didn't get any height from her (my 6'2" brother did!) Somedays I wish I had an extra 4 inches.

That dip is amazing! Great things to love!
I think I saw it twice when it was in theaters the first time. And my sister and I bought it on VHS the day it came out. We still have it on VHS, and will definitely be adding it to our blue ray collection when it comes out!
