Our friend and roommate (an important member of our family), and my daughters significant other, Carleen has died this morning at 10AM. She's been having problems breathing for the past year and the doctors never could find much though they told her she had congestive heart failure and acid reflux disease. Blah, she's been in and out of the emergency room A LOT and they just gave her pain meds and sent her home and ordered another test.
I am not dealing with this well and I have to hold it together for my daughters sake and for the sake of the children. The boys loved Carleen too, well, my entire family did and we are all just floored by her death. It was both unexpected and yet, not entirely a huge surprise.
Poor Carleen, we love you and we are going to miss you so much.
How does a person handle this level of grief? And better yet, how do you hold it together for the sake of the kids and my adult daughter who is just leveled with her grief?

Blessings,Friend!
This has been a very difficult week for us, as well...........we've had three deaths (of friends), just within less than a week.....and attended two funerals. Very, very draining, for sure.
