The Secret Circle has kicked off its season on CW. Two episodes in, and the witches are already getting themselves in trouble. Forced to bind, will that keep their power under control? The series scored high ratings for its season premiere last week, and there was a dip in those ratings this week, but the series is still making a nice companion to Vampire Diaries, which is in its third season.
One of the characters in the series is currently an enigma, but his history is slowly unfolding. There is more to Nick than being the guy that watches Cassie from his bedroom window. Wet Paint released a new interview with the actor behind Nick earlier this week. Louis Hunter had this to say about what is coming next for his character in this first season of The Secret Circle: "From the beginning to the fourth or fifth episode in, he's a changed man actually. He starts to fall for someone and he starts to let his guard down, which is really great for Nick because it means he's kind of starting to get over that pain and is growing up in his own way. It's nice to see, and it's nice to act, because you have to kind of hold that clenched fist to your chest, and then you can kind of relax a little bit. It's a nice moment for him."
The history of those in the circle will also be slowly revealed. It has been mentioned that Nick lost both his parents, so the story behind that will come out during the season. For now, the circle has bound themselves together, and viewers are learning about these characters. Cassie and Adam are being drawn together, but Nick has his own two women to deal on the other side of the circle. If you missed this week's episode, find out what happened here. With Kevin Willamson involved, anything can happen on this series.
