The kaleidoscope option on LunaPic takes a wedge of the photo and rotates in a number of times (the default is 5). I took a photo of fireworks and cropped the one explosion. There are three elements to the photo; the ball of red exploding fireworks, the one white firework heading upwards and leaving a white trail, and (since this was taken at a bapplark) a dark line where the cable that held the net behind home plate crossed the field of view.
So here is what I am going to do. Since the effect takes only one corner of the image I will do this 4 times rotating the image 90% each time.
