Charlie Sheen was doubly dissed by Jackass star Steve-O—once during the roast and again on the so-called winning warlock's favorite social medium, Twitter. While the former Two and a Half Men star claims he's now drug- and alcohol-free, Steve-O says nothing could be further from the truth.
Yes, Jackass star Steve-O knows the ins and outs of drug abuse and addiction as well as anybody on the planet. He also knows about denial. And that's the state he believes his friend Charlie Sheen is in—the state of denial. Steve-O thinks Charlie Sheen is still using—regularly and heavily.
Steve-O recalls:
The night the roast aired he had a party at his house, and I tweeted a picture with him and my tweet said, 'I believe I'm at the most expensive crack house on the planet.' And I probably was, for god's sakes. I shouldn't say I know anything, but I don't think [he's sober]. But it is what it is. I try to stay off my soapbox.
Well, that's good. Steve-O on a soap box about drugs and/or booze would be like the pot using a megaphone to call the kettle black. However, sadly, Steve-o is probably right. Drug addicts are what they are, and only one thing ever permanently changes them.
