"Giuliana & Bill" have decided to go to Denver to a fertility clinic that has a fantastic success rate. After their self-imposed year of fun is coming to an end, it is time to try to have a baby again.
"Giuliana & Bill" have made a promise not to tell anyone because they were so disappointed when the first pregnancy did not produce a baby. So Bill went to Chicago to meet with his friend Zak, who now has his own restaurant and cannot partner with Bill in the Mama DePandi venture. Bill brings his sister with him, and they discuss with Zak what is involved in running a restaurant. While Bill is away, Giuliana is doing a commercial with puppets.
Back in Los Angeles, Bill practices using a teleprompter with Giuliana's help. He will be hosting an entertainment news show called "America Now" with Leeza Gibbons. Giuliana gets news that she is asked to host the "Miss USA Pageant" in Las Vegas and is thrilled to be co-hosting with Andy Cohen. Her wardrobe is lovely and she has several changes during the pageant and is as beautiful as the contestants.
The restaurant is now a major point of concern for them because they are undecided as to what to do. The choices besides just forgetting the whole thing are to either open their own restaurant or go with the major investors who have all the experience needed to make it a successful venture. Giuliana fears that Bill's involvement in the restaurant will push them further apart and jeopardize their time together and hinder their plans to have a baby. But Giuliana relents and gives Bill the go-ahead.
Bill meets with the Melman family of investors. They have found an excellent location for the restaurant and expect to have it up and running in around six months.
In Denver, they met with the doctor and he feels that there is no reason to expect another failure. They meet with a genetic counselor for genetic testing to further ensure that they will have success the second time around.
Giuliana gives her parents the update on the Mamma DePandi restaurant concept. She tells them about the larger restaurant and there is no name for the restaurant as of yet and it most likely will not be called Mamma DePandi's. Giuliana's mother and father take the news very well and understand for now. But the next step will be the DePandi and Rancic families meeting with the Melman group. Oh, by the way, Bill wants to buy another home in Chicago!
