Neil Patrick Harris Gets Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Neil Patrick Harris of How I Met Your Mother and, of course, Doogie Houser fame now has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The honor was bestowed upon the actor Thursday in Los Angeles.

According to Celebuzz, in addition to both Doogie Houser, which he filmed when he was just a kid, and now How I Met Your Mother—NPH has also done a stint on Broadway. He's a definite all-around star.

David Burtka joined fiance Neil Patrick Harris in Hollywood on Thursday to celebrate the honor of getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The two have been in the news a lot lately. First, they adopted twins—a little boy and a little girl, and then announced their engagement shortly thereafter.

What some fans don't know about Neil Patrick Harris is that in between Doogie Houser (which he filmed as a kid) and How I Met Your Mother, the actor even had a stint on Broadway. He is a definite all-around talent, who even sings and dances! He's pretty in the TV ad that is currently running for X-Finity, too!

Congratulations are most definitely in order for Neil Patrick Harris on the achievement and honor of receiving his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Most fans, however, are wondering why on earth it took so long for him to be recognized!
