Turns out it is exactly what it looks like. Big surprise. The evidence continues to mount.

I guess it takes one to know one.
Maddow is not some uneducated person. Maddow is a highly educated person with a Rhodes scholar and a PhD in Politics. Maddow has years of radio broadcasting experience to boot. So the slip of the tongue is highly suspicious, but you go ahead and believe what you want.
To me I have to wonder if Maddow believes her stature as a liberal gives her the liberty to say these comments.
It will take all to come together and vote in people that are willing to do the work that needs to be done with out bring the attitude there are two sides.
WE ARE ALL AMERICANS
Robert there's a reason why Democrats want him to be tougher on Republicans. They plain and simply don't want the country to be united. They believe a divided country is the only way they can weasel their way back into the White House.
Right on Lloyd.
This occurred shortly after the Democrats and Obama voted in the failed stimulus bill. Once again without any Republican input.
In 2010 the election we had a landslide election of Republicans in the House, Senate, state legislatures and Governors. Now the Republicans are bringing forth their ideas and the President does not want admit elections have consequence.
That is not reaching across party lines.
Say what you want, but if you look back on the votes under Clinton and then under Bush you will see crossing over the political lines to vote in major bills. Under Bush both tax cuts, the Iraqi War Resolution, and many other bills were passed with bipartisan support. That is reaching across the party lines. The votes under Obama have not.
But the biggest problem I can see is you want to say Boehner showed disrespect, but the President did not see it that way. Neither did the VP as people could easily see before the Obama speech. However, people on both sides believe the rhetoric and do not want to see how the real issue is not the Republicans or the Democrats. Or the liberals or the conservatives.
The real issue is the elites in the ruling class. No matter what party both are out to keep their seats rather than do what is best for the country. After all the rhetoric the average people are at each others throats while the elected elites live together in their little world of Washington.
Obama is no different than Bush or Clinton. Neither is Pelosi any different than Boehner.
Step away from the computer and mingle with a variety of people if you can leave your innate bias at home.
Couple of errors of fact.
1. The results of the stimulus bill weren't as dramatic as hoped, but the Congressional Budget Office and most of the economists who've evaluated the results say that the stimulus mitigated the recession. Things would have been much worse without it.
2. Obama doesn't get to vote in Congress. The vice president can cast tie breaker votes in the Senate but the president has no vote.
Thank you posting to the Triple Name Club.
Thanks William !
Wonderful VIDEO of MSNBC, the pettiness of John Boehner : How the U. S. House of Representatives turned down the President because they had to approve two insignificant unimportant bills about small sports events like jogging and congratulating some sport girls of North Carolina !
Wow !
How Republicans despise the President of the United States. Narrow-mindedness and Littleness. - There is something about this president that turns Republicans into masters of disrespect.
What is it ??
