More Hummingbirds

This female posed for me on Sunday while I was on my photo safari. She seemed to want to have her picture taken; she'd flit off frequently but always return to the same branch on a Black Walnut tree.

Great shots, as always. We've been getting Allen's hummers at our feeder this year, which seems unusual, we've always only had Anna's before. But any pics I'd take of them would be like - "See that dot? That's a beautiful hummingbird. Use your imagination!" XD

I saw your previous entry and was wondering where you got your information, as it was counter to anything I'd ever read, but I didn't want to be the dog in the manger when everyone else was being so positive. I've been told I should just let people be wrong sometimes.
