Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez the perfect prototypical celebrity husband and wife team? Are they true soul mates destined to be life partners? Will they tie the knot sometime in the near future? Apparently, a lot of people think they definitely should.
Yes, although the Never Say Never star and his Monte Carlo leading lady-love are only 17 and 19 years old respectively, the consensus is that they have what it takes to make the perfect married pair, and they should definitely waltz down the aisle at some time in the future. According to Hollywood Life, all the facts point to that conclusion.
First of all, they two are obviously hopelessly devoted to each other. He's faithfully served as her "groupie" while she's been travelling with her ongoing We Own The Night Tour, and he even did a stint as a DJ at her recent Las Vegas after party. Selena is often seen wearing his shirts, and she carts the Teddy bear he gave her around with her when she travels. Lately, she's sported a Henna tattoo on her wrist that reads: "Justin."
Secondly, despite their youth, these teens know who they are and what they want. They're career driven yet family oriented. Justin has stated publicly that he hopes to be married at 25 or 26, and a young dad by age 30. Furthermore, Both Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez know what it's like to live in the glare of the spotlight of fame. Selena became a Disney kid at age 9. And Justin's worldwide celebrity is almost unparalleled. These 2 can relate to each other in a way few other couples ever could. And they certainly don't have any financial problems--which is more than can be said for most young couples. Or old couples for that matter.
With all that going for them, why shouldn't they get married? Believe it or not, some teen marriages actually work out. Seriously, the emotional enmeshment known as "love" can hardly be considered a logical, stable state of mind whether the participants are teenagers or middle-aged. Actually, Selena and the Biebs will probably have about as much of a chance of making their relationship work over the long haul as anybody else. So perhaps they will marry when Justin Bieber turns 20 or so. Should they?
