Adam Lambert’s Music Performed by International Reality Show Contestants (Video)

Recently Adam Lambert's music has shown up around the world on reality talent competition shows. The latest includes two of Adam's songs that were just used by contestants for X Factor auditions in the Ukraine, including "Soaked" (video time 2:30) and "Whataya Want From Me" (video time 2:52). In addition, contestant Mark Haze performed a cover of Adam's single "If I Had You" on Idols in South Africa last weekend. Click on the video below to see this performance:

A couple of weeks ago it was also reported that Adam Lambert's song Sleepwalker was performed on "The Voice" in Bulgaria. Aimee Mayo, one of the writers of Sleepwalker, was so excited to see the song on TV all the way in Bulgaria, she even tweeted about it:

In other international news related to Adam's music, another video is currently circulating on the Internet. Although the "2011 Fonogram Hungarian Music Awards" were held last March, a video of the winners has been seen on blogs and Twitter over the last couple of days. The video shows Adam Lambert's win for the "International Modern Pop-Rock Album of the Year" award for his debut album, For Your Entertainment.

It is great to see that so many songs from Adam's debut album are so popular abroad. Hopefully once he releases his sophomore album, Adam will be able to perform his new music on these reality shows himself, as a guest artist.

Hmm, it works for me. Did you give it a minute to load? Are you in the U.S.? (It's embed code from South Africa, so it may not work in every country. But it has worked for me and the Gather reviewers here in the U.S.

I tried again but no luck. Get no video after waiting for 5 min. I also tried to find it on YT by typing in South Africian Idol IIHY still couldn't find it.

It's on YouTube, but when I tried to embed that one, there were copyright issues and it wouldn't play. So weird, I can play it on my computer and my phone when I click on it.

I live in Australia and I have heard Adam's For Your Entertainment on Channel 9's reality show The Block and channel 7's Australia's Got Talent and nearly fell over when I heard Strut on Australia's Next Top Model, all within the last month! Awesome and can't wait for the second album. Hopefully with new management, his talent will be promoted on a greater scale so that this amazing person gets the recognition he deserves!
