This week we'll write revisionist fiction. Choose one of the following fictional characters and write a new ending to his or her story. If possible, include the word, organic.
Scarlett O'Hara, Scrooge, Snow White, Romeo and Juliet
“I must return to the cotton fields Juliet. The dwarves will slack off and smoke unless I apply the whip.”
“Oh Romeo, why are things so much harsher now?”
“It is that wretched codpiece Scrooge. He has advised Miss Scarlet to economize and now forces the slaves and other laborers unmercifully into the organic fields!”
“Oh, what shall we do?”
“Fear not children.”
“I shall distract the dwarves back to the cottage, where we will put forth a union.”
“Good idea Snow White, that’ll show Scrooge!!”
“Hmmm . . . Oh yes . . . that too.”
(93 words) 7 words left in the dwarves’ cottage, along with their tiny lederhosen and tools.
