I have to admit that the more I see from the leaders on the left, the more I realize that they absolutely hate anyone who thinks differently than they do. And they are either being foolish in their hatred, or they are serious in wanting to do us harm. Sometimes I'm not sure which it is.
Â
Recently we've had the comments from Maxine Waters and Andre Carson making absurd accusations about racism in the TEA party, and worse than that claiming that TEA party members want to see blacks hung on trees. Carson said that. When I heard that, it made me sick. And it frightened me. Making such outlandish accusations could certainly make some crazy decide to go after all TEA party members. Would Carson be to blame?
Â
Over the weekend, we had Hoffa telling union members that we're at war and that they need to come after us "SOBs."Â His exact words were "Let's take these sons of bitches out!"
Â
Isn't that inciting violence? Take us out? Why is it that folks on the left can believe that a target on a web site is enough to make someone go after people who have been targeted, but they cannot see that provoking them at a rally is dangerous?
Â
Biden joined in. At the same AFL-CIO picnic where Hoffa told members to get us, Biden said, "You are the only folks keeping the barbarians from the gates...the other side has declared war on labor's house."
Â
Calling us barbarians speaks volumes. That's a way of saving that we're inferior, but also brutal, cruel, warlike and insensitive. All of those are what people think of barbarians. Unfortunately, Biden probably doesn't realize that it also has a connotation that connects to video games and violence. Or perhaps he does. In either case, having had Hoffa and Biden at the same union gathering telling folks that they should get us because we're at war with them was either stupid or brilliant, depending on whether or not they're really trying to call the union members to violent action against us or just trying to rile up a crowd so they'll get out and vote "properly."
Â
Already the question is being asked about whether or not that rhetoric caused a shooting at IHOP.
Â
Let’s play a game of “Let’s Suppose.†By now you’ve heard that a nut case entered an IHOP restaurant and shot eleven people. Three of them are dead. Two of them uniformed Army National Guardsmen. Was the shooter influenced by Jimmy Hoffa’s comments?
Â
Maybe the shooter took him literally. He found what best represented what the Tea Party stands for — free enterprise, freedom of movement, and the defense of this great nation — and he decided to take them out. Hoffa has not apologized for his comments. “We didn’t start this war — the right wing did,†he said in a written statement. Did he imply that he and his union members will finish it?
Â
From: Did Union Boss Hoffa’s Rhetoric Contribute to IHOP Shootings?
Â
As we've said before, the president won't say anything about what Hoffa or Biden or even what Waters or Carson said. They're all leftist Democrats and they're allowed to say anything they choose.
Â
You know what the president's spokesperson Jay Carney said?
Â
"Those weren’t comments by the president. The president … wasn’t on stage. He didn’t speak for another 20 minutes. He didn’t hear it. Mr. Hoffa speaks for himself. The president speaks for himself.â€
Â
So how is it that a group of people who want to see the Constitution followed can become the objects of such hatred? How is it that people who wish to see less government spending, lower taxes and free markets become the bad guys?

I guess that tells us that he's fine with Hoffa telling people to attack us.
Obama Praises Anti-Tea Party, Violent War Profanity
In her message, Palin wrote, “To the same degree Americans are concerned about irresponsible, greedy corporate execs who got cushy bonuses from taxpayer-funded bailouts, we should also be concerned about greedy union bosses who are willing to tank our economy just to protect their own power.”
“As union history shows, power and greed corrupt,” she continued. “Just because you claim to represent union members doesn’t mean you are on the side of the angels. The greed of too many of these union bosses has all but destroyed the labor movement in this country, helped chase away our jobs, and is killing the American dream.”
Palin prefaced her remarks by stressing that she’s not anti-union, but against the behavior exhibited by people like Hoffa.
“What I say now, I say as a proud former union member and the wife, daughter, and sister of union members,” she wrote. “So, as a former card-carrying IBEW sister married to a proud former Laborers, IBEW, and later USW member, please hear me out.”
